In this episode of the Apple Cart, I’m joined by Vit Kodousek to talk about how to use AI to create better social media posts faster. He’s the co-founder of Someli AI, an all-in-one platform that automates social media with the use of AI.

How Vit Came to Start Someli.AI
Vit and his business partner started Someli.AI during the covid pandemic. “I’d worked in marketing most of my life, and I realised that so many people wanted to use social media but didn’t have the skills and didn’t know where to start.
“I knew that the more visible a business is, the more credible and successful they are. And then noticed that there was no automated platform which could create, schedule and post content on behalf of users. So we started exploring tech options.
“It became clear that if you want to create a unique, customised solution for each client, AI was the inevitable choice. The more we understood a company, the more our AI module learns. That way, it creates content that fits the tone and style of each user’s business.”
Why all Businesses Need to Embrace Content Marketing
Very simply, if you aren’t marketing yourself, then another company will come from behind and run you over, says Vit. “They’re getting noticed and you aren’t. You need to create value for your clients so that you’re top of mind when they’re ready to buy.
“You need to be visible, and that means creating content and posting it daily. Otherwise you just get lost in the crowd. But your content can’t be boring, because then people don’t pay attention.
“So share relevant, helpful content that your clients will appreciate. When you do so, you build up your online visibility, which in turn builds credibility and that turns into profitability that grows your business. That way, you don’t get left behind.”

Why you Need to be Consistent and Relevant with Your Marketing
For Vit, these are the most important aims in marketing and will lead to more conversations. “Being relevant means not only talking to the right target audience but also using simple, jargon-free language so they understand what I’m sharing.
“That way, I know my content is helpful. Of course, it can also be educational or entertaining. And then consistency means showing up every day to increase your visibility and reach. If you only post once a month, you might as well not bother.
“It’s a misconception that each of your followers see your content every time you post. In fact, recent stats suggest that only 10-15% of them do. So you can see why you need to post all the time. The more posts you have, the more likely your audience are to see it.”
How to use AI to be More Creative
Vit describes himself as a digital artist and someone who creates a lot. “But I think creativity can be trained. I found that I couldn’t always come up with a new way to do things, and AI actually helps me.
“So when I talk to AI, it’s a partner I enjoy talking to. And then depending on how you prompt AI, you can use it to play devil’s advocate. You can ask if you’ve forgotten anything, or ask it to look from another angle and make suggestions.
“You can use this to help you write a video script or to come up with social media contrary. I find those discussions with AI to be extremely creative. The more you chat with it, the more ideas it gives you. Talk about all kinds of different topics.”
