I’m pretty pleased by how 2016 has gone for my copywriting business. You can see in my first birthday post what my achievements have been (http://wp.me/p7dMiY-dI), and I’m looking forward to building on this and making myself location independent by the second quarter of 2017. My content editorial planning is already underway.

Content Editorial for 2017

I’m already working on some plans for next year, and a major part of this is developing my content editorial calendar for the full 12 months. I’m committing to writing one post per week and repurposing this for different social media platforms.

Part of this includes deciding on a theme for each month, which is what a lot of serious bloggers and online marketers do. This means that all of my content for the month will be related and I think this will really help. I know what content is coming next and it means that I won’t be struggling for ideas. I will be blogging consistently and sharing (what I hope is) valuable, helpful content.

Allocating time now to come up with themes and weekly topics also enables me to schedule blocks of working time each quarter to write and repurpose, so I can schedule it all in and I don’t need to worry about trying to find Wi-Fi while I’m travelling. I’ll still be interacting as much as I can in real time, so that I’m engaging with my community, which I intend to grow as the year goes on.

I’m going to be looking at various aspects of writing, including basic grammar and punctuation, useful tools and tips on getting started. I’ll also be producing a series of how-to guides, as from feedback I’ve had, I know people find these useful.

Content Ideas Needed!

However, I’d like to take the opportunity now to ask for any other suggestions for blog topics or even a monthly theme. At present I have a couple of weeks with some ideas but nothing definite, so it would be great to hear from you if you have anything you’d like me to cover in 2017.

Let me know!
